Pollensa is a well-known tourist town in Mallorca.
We can find a wide variety of leisure activities such as weekly markets, fairs, cultural and sporting events.
The weekly markets take place every Sunday in Pollença and Wednesday in Puerto Pollença. Apart from fruit, vegetables, olives, cold cuts and cheeses from the region etc. we find stalls selling clothes, footwear, souvenirs, toys and small details for the whole family and / or friends. Some music groups create a good atmosphere and you cannot miss a coffee with milk or any aperitif in one of the bars in the Plaza Mayor.
The Pollença Fair that takes place in November is well known in Mallorca for the Handicraft Fair. Also one of the fairs that has gained a lot of strength year after year is the Wine Fair that is held in April in the Cloister of Pollença where a large number of wineries from the Balearic Islands offer a tasting of their wines.

The Patron Saint of Pollença is celebrated every year between the end of July and the beginning of August. It is the main festival par excellence in the town. The historically well-known Moors and Christians drill is held every August 2.
